Christine Sloan Stoddard is a Salvadoran-American writer and interdisciplinary artist originally from Virginia. She is the founder of Quail Bell Magazine and the author of several books, including Water for the Cactus Woman (Spuyten Duyvil). Her work has appeared in Ms. Magazine, Bustle, The Feminist Wire, Marie Claire, The Huffington Post, So to Speak, Hispanic Culture Review, Jimson Weed, and elsewhere. Currently she is the artist-in-residence at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House in New York City.
