Writers’ Block Live: Grant Hier, Jonathan Alexander, and Julia Walton

In the first ever episode of Writers’ Block Live, Mike talks two new writers and one returning guest. Grant Hier is an award-winning poet named the recipient of PRIZE AMERICANA for his book Untended Garden (The Poetry Press, 2015). He is Professor of English at Laguna College of Art + Design where he teaches creative writing. Jonathan Alexander is the Chancellor’s Professor of English at UC Irvine, where he is director of the Center for Excellence in Writing and Communication. He is the author, co-author, or editor of 13 books, including the newly released critical memoir, Creep: A Life, a Theory, an Apology. Julia Walton’s debut YA novel, Words on Bathroom Walls, was released from Random House BFYR in July 2017. She received an MFA in Creative Writing from Chapman University. Enjoy!
